people dont like mp100 bc its different. people honestly want to watch the same shonen anime over and over again, they want to see the same old reused plot, see the pretty anime boys and fanservices (all of them usually underage), the same boring animation and scenes over and over again. we accept the same thing and hail it as a masterpiece but when something else is brought to the table and it actually subverts tropes in the genre and manages to create something beautiful yet simplistic it gets ignored. it sucks
